The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of LOLC Bank Philippines Inc., in alignment with the policies, risk appetite, and governance framework approved by the Board of Directors.
The CEO is ultimately accountable for ensuring that the Bank operates in a safe, sound, and sustainable manner, consistent with the requirements of the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and other Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issuances. The role is critical in embedding a risk-aware culture, strengthening corporate governance, and delivering financial and operational resilience.
The President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall be the overall-in-charge of the management of the business and affairs of LOLC Bank Philippines Inc., operating within the strategic direction, risk appetite, and governance framework approved by the Board of Directors.
The CEO shall be primarily accountable to the Board for ensuring that the Bank is managed in a safe, sound, and prudent manner, consistent with the provisions of the BSP Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
He/She shall champion the desired corporate culture, ethical standards, and professional conduct across the organization, ensuring that these are embedded in all levels of operations and decision-making. The CEO is responsible for the effective execution of Board-approved strategies, translating these into measurable performance outcomes while maintaining strong risk discipline.
