Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Chief Building Engineer for Ayala Malls TriNoma, to spearhead site engineering operations in Quezon City and oversee building systems maintenance.

The role requires leading a team, managing CAPEX projects, and ensuring safety and efficiency of facility performance. The ideal candidate will have a licensed engineering degree and 4–6 years of electro-mechanical and facilities management experience, with strong knowledge of local codes and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years solid experience in electro-mechanical systems or facilities management.
• Strong leadership skills in managing engineering teams and contractors.
• Solid knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance of building systems (MEP, HVAC, critical infrastructure).
• Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and optimize energy and water use.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety standards, and environmental regs.

Job Details: We are hiring a Chief Building Engineer for Ayala Malls TriNoma to lead site engineering operations, oversee building systems maintenance, manage sustainability projects, and ensure safe and efficient facility performance.

• POSITION: Chief Building Engineer
• LOCATION: Quezon City, Metro Manila
• WORK SETUP: On-site

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee overall operations and maintenance of building systems including MEP, HVAC, and critical infrastructure
• Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and optimize energy and water consumption
• Ensure strict compliance with national building codes, fire safety standards, and local environmental regulations
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, vendor contracts, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the engineering team and third-party facility maintenance contractors
• Serve as primary technical responder during facility emergencies and ensure high operational uptime

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years solid experience in electro-mechanical systems and commercial property or facilities management
• Strong leadership skills in managing engineering teams, contractors, and concurrent capital projects
• Solid knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance
• Proficient in computer applications, MS Office, and engineering or project management tools (SAP, CADD)
