Job summary

Rudolf Lietz, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reporting and analysis, overseeing monthly and year-end closings and delivering precise management reports to guide strategic decisions.

You will supervise the accounting team, drive budgeting and forecasting, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with auditors while strengthening internal controls and asset protection.

Responsibilities

Job description

Financial reporting and analysis
  • a. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • b. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • c. Generate financial reports for management and perform analysis on financial data such as
  • d. Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and report findings to management.
Team and department management
  • a. Lead, motivate and mentor the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • b. Supervise and delegate the work of the accounting staff to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Compliance and internal controls
  • a. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial laws, regulations, accounting standards, accounting policies and procedures.
  • b. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • c. Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • d. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare documentation for audits.
  • e. Oversee the timely filings of Declaration of Actual Use (DAU) of the trademarks registered with the IPO.
  • f. Coordinate with the BIR examiners and prepare documentation for audits thru issued Letter of Authority (LOA).
Strategic and operational support
  • a. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • b. Provide financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • c. Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting procedures and computerized financial systems.
  • d. Manage daily accounting operations, such as pricelist update, processing of accounts payable vouchers (APV), final cost calculations, generate and issuance of sales invoices, recording and posting of sales invoice, and updating of books of accounts.
  • e. Maintains the integrity of the company's accounting system.
Academic Qualification/s:
  • 1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
  • 2.Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Experience:
  • 1. Must have at least 5 years combined accounting, tax and finance experience.
  • 2.Experience with audit and preparation of financial statements.
Communication Skill
  • 1. Good verbal communication.
  • 2. Active listening which involves paying close attention to what the other person is saying, asking clarifying questions and rephrasing what the person says to ensure understanding.
  • 3. Constructive feedback. Being able to give and receive feedback appropriately.
General Skills Requirement
  1. With strong leadership skills and outstanding ability in handling people.
  2. Must motivate and inspire team members.
  3. Must know the accounting principles and practices to audit the company’s financial records.
