Job summary

Hubexo is seeking an experienced Chargebee Solution Architect to design, implement, and continuously improve scalable subscription billing solutions. You will translate business needs into robust Chargebee configurations, integrations, and processes across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.

You will own the Chargebee template and drive automation, data quality, and governance while collaborating with NetSuite, HubSpot, DealHub, and payment providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in CRM/ERP, billing, or business systems design.
• 2+ years hands-on Chargebee experience.
• Experience with Chargebee integrations (NetSuite, HubSpot, DealHub, payments).
• Knowledge of data structures, APIs, and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Chargebee architecture across functions.
• Own Chargebee template, configuration, and integration.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Chargebee Solution Architect to design, implement, and continuously improve scalable subscription billing and monetization solutions across the business.

In this role, you will translate business requirements into robust Chargebee architecture, configurations, integrations, and processes. You will take ownership of the Chargebee template and continue to develop and optimize it as the business evolves.

You will work closely with Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other technology teams to design solutions and drive technical decisions across our end-to-end business systems landscape. The role will involve integrating Chargebee with platforms such as HubSpot, NetSuite, DealHub, payment providers, and data platforms, while ensuring scalability, data quality, automation, and sustainable system architecture.

Work arrangement

Hybrid, based in Makati, Philippines, with a minimum of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of Chargebee architecture and solutions across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other business functions.
• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Chargebee template, configuration, and overall solution architecture.
• Manage and execute data migration activities from legacy systems into Chargebee and related platforms.
• Configure Chargebee objects, properties, workflows, automations, subscription plans, invoicing, and billing processes.
• Translate business requirements and processes into scalable, efficient, and maintainable Chargebee solutions.
• Define and maintain appropriate data governance, access models, data structures, and reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor a small technical team while coordinating with external vendors, implementation partners, and integration providers.
• Work closely with Integration Developers to connect Chargebee with NetSuite, HubSpot, DealHub, payment providers, and other business platforms.
• Provide technical expertise in API integrations, system architecture, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, system performance, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, data models, architecture, and best practices.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to support successful adoption and continuous improvement of Chargebee solutions.
• Collaborate with international teams and external partners across different time zones as required.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CRM, ERP, billing, or business systems design, configuration, and implementation, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with ChargeBee.
• Strong hands-on experience with Chargebee, particularly subscription management, billing, invoicing, and monetization processes.
• Proven experience delivering data migration and business systems transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of subscription models, invoicing, billing processes, and recurring revenue operations.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations between Chargebee and platforms such as NetSuite, HubSpot, DealHub, payment providers, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, ETL processes, APIs, and integration technologies such as Make, Zapier, Workato, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate technical teams or project resources.

Desirable

• Chargebee certifications, particularly in Administration, Solutions Architecture, or Data Management.
• Experience with NetSuite, HubSpot, DealHub, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience working in a global organization with distributed teams.
• Experience with automation, integration architecture, and enterprise-scale business transformation initiatives.
