Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in processing chargebacks or investigating fraud.
• Experience analyzing data and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong business judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently after training and through holidays.

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve disputes within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps on a case-by-case basis.
• Analyze individual transactions using internal policies to identify patterns or trends.
• Understand systems and tools; investigate account patterns through data analysis.
• Work with analysts, operations, data scientists and engineers to improve loss prevention processes.
• Maintain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.
• Meet or exceed SLAs for timely resolution of cases to minimize losses.
• Handle escalations professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
