You will prepare and maintain financial records, assist in monthly and annual statements, support audits, tax compliance, and ensure GAAP adherence while collaborating with colleagues across departments.

Qualifications

• CPA licence (Philippine) or equivalent qualification.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP systems experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and adjusting entries
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
• Supporting the audit process by gathering and organising financial documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Monitoring and recording fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals
• Assisting with tax compliance activities and preparing documentation for tax filings
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records and investigating variances
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and clarify transactions

What we're looking for

• Philippine CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licence or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reconciliations
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and external stakeholders
