Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with timely, accurate transactions.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and regulations.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making across functions.
• Improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Renew business permits and licenses.
• Process VAT refunds.
• Prepare year-end financial statements, ITR and audits.

About the role

In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in managing the company's financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and driving the overall financial health of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Continuously improve accounting processes and implement best practices
• Renewal of Business Permits and Licenses
• Processing of VAT Refund
• Year End Financial Statement, ITR, and Audit

About you

• A valid professional accounting license (CPA)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial accounting or reporting role, preferably in a similar industry
• Knowledge in EXPORT INDUSTRY is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial analysis tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
