Qualifications

• Familiarity with shipboard safety practices and PPE usage.
• Able to work in a multi-national crew and follow orders from officers.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Good observational skills to spot equipment irregularities.
• Valid seafarer documents and required safety certifications.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and drills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading cement cargo on vessels and at shore facilities.
• Monitor cargo handling equipment and ensure proper securing of cargo.
• Follow standard operating procedures to prevent spills, losses, and incidents.
• Perform routine deck and cargo system checks and assist in maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Participate in drills, maintain records, and uphold a compliant working environment.
