Job summary

OSM MARITIME SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Chief Officer to lead deck and cargo operations on cement carriers for worldwide trades with OSM Thome.

You will supervise loading, stowage, and discharge, maintain navigational watch, and uphold safety and documentation on board. The ideal candidate holds a Unlimited Chief Officer license, has bulk carrier experience, strong English, and a proven safety mindset with leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license and STCW compliance.
• Experience as Chief Officer or 1st Officer on bulk carriers.
• Knowledge of bulk cargo handling and stability.
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates and medical fitness.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety mindset and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead deck crew in all deck and cargo operations.
• Plan and supervise loading, stowage, and discharge of bulk cargoes.
