Job summary

Vienovo Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Central Control Room (CCR) Operator to monitor and control the feed mill's SCADA-based systems, ensuring safe, continuous production and optimal performance.

You will oversee batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, and material handling, respond to alarms, document production data, and coordinate with production, maintenance, and field operators to maintain quality, GMP compliance, and safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required or related field.
• Experience with SCADA/PLC-based automation is advantageous.
• Experience in feed mill or process industries preferred.
• Proficient in standard computer applications and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the SCADA system for safe, efficient production.

The Central Control Room (CCR) Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the feed mill’s SCADA-based control system to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. The role oversees automated plant operations, monitors process performance, responds to system alarms, and coordinates with production and maintenance teams to maintain product quality, optimize plant efficiency, and minimize downtime while complying with safety and operational standards.

The Central Control Room (CCR) Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the plant’s SCADA-based automation system to ensure continuous and efficient feed mill operations. The role includes controlling production processes, monitoring equipment performance, executing production schedules, responding to system alarms, and coordinating with field operators to address operational issues. The CCR Operator ensures accurate batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, and material handling in accordance with approved formulations and production plans. The position also maintains production records, reports equipment abnormalities, supports troubleshooting and maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and established operating procedures. Through proactive monitoring and effective coordination, the CCR Operator helps maximize plant productivity, minimize downtime, and maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the SCADA system to ensure safe and efficient feed mill production.
• Control and oversee batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, and other automated processes according to production schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to alarms, process deviations, or operational issues.
• Coordinate with field operators, maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams to maintain smooth plant operations.
• Ensure production complies with approved formulations, quality standards, GMP, and safety requirements.
• Record production data, downtime, alarms, and operational activities accurately in shift logs and reports.
• Report equipment abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate production status and outstanding concerns to the next operator.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and process performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field).
• Experience in operating SCADA, PLC-based, or automated industrial control systems is an advantage.
• Experience in a feed mill, food manufacturing, or process industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, process control, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in computer applications and industrial monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
