Job summary

PL Aguila Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager to drive sales of frozen meat products, grow existing accounts, and hit monthly and annual targets.

You will identify new customers, nurture partnerships, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and superior service. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of sales experience in food, trading, or distribution, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in food, trading, or distribution.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Job Summary

The Category Manager is responsible for finding new customers, growing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets. The role involves selling frozen meat products, building strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and working with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Growth

• Find and develop new customers.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.

2. Customer Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Develop assigned accounts by understanding customer needs and business goals.
• Create and execute account plans to grow sales and strengthen partnerships.

3. Product & Inventory Support

• Monitor product availability with the Supply Chain team.
• Help ensure customers receive products on time.
• Recommend products based on customer requirements.

4. Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Monitor sales performance and customer activity.
• Provide updates and recommendations to management.
