Job summary

Cocogen in Metro Manila is looking for a dependable Cashier to join our finance team. The role handles cash receipts, petty cash vouchers, and commissions, ensuring accurate daily reconciliation of funds and timely issuance of Official Receipts.

The ideal candidate is a graduate in Finance or Accounting with at least 1 year of related experience. We offer competitive compensation, HMO, and annual performance evaluations to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Finance, Accounting or related course.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks, petty cash vouchers and commission vouchers for release.
• Prepares and analyzes commission payments for agents and brokers.
• Performs daily reconciliation of petty cash fund.
• Verifies premium payments corresponding to cancelled policies.
• Prepares PAS for all cancelled policies that due for reinstatement and cancelled policies related to non-payment of premium.
• Release and monitors cash advances and liquidations.
• Issue Official Receipts.

Duties of the Cashier may include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Receives checks, petty cash vouchers and commission vouchers for release.
• Prepares and analyzes commission payments for agents and brokers.
• Performs daily reconciliation of petty cash fund.

• Prepares Placement Acceptance Sheet (PAS)for all cancelled policies that due for reinstatement and cancelled policies related to non-payment of premium.
• Release and monitors cash advances and liquidations.
• Issue Official Receipts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• -Graduate of Finance, Accounting or any related course.
• -With at least 1-year experience in a related field
