Job summary

Lean Solutions Group (LSG) is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant (Cash and Reconciliations) to manage daily corporate liquidity and cash operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial tracking by monitoring balance sheets against bank activity, processing daily transactions, and resolving account variances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, with emphasis on cash operations, bank reconciliations, or treasury.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data manipulation).

Responsibilities

• Bank & Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with internal billing, invoices, and remittances; investigate and resolve unmatched entries, short payments, and unrecognized deductions.
• Cash Operations & Close Support: Perform daily matching of cash inflows and outflows to maintain cash clearing accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• General Ledger Coding: Accurately assign GL codes to non-AR receipts and non-AP disbursements through cross-departmental coordination.
• Reporting & Audit Readiness: Prepare daily/monthly transaction reports and assemble audit documentation, work papers, and flat claim rebate records for external auditors.
• Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain organized digital financial records in accordance with internal controls and data retention policies.
