Job summary

GoTyme Bank is seeking a Payment & Operations Lead to oversee issuer card reconciliations, settlements, and journal postings. You will drive process improvements, enforce controls, and coordinate with Finance, Treasury, and partners to ensure accurate, timely reconciliations of Visa and BancNet transactions.

The role requires a strong background in card settlement, reconciliation, and risk controls, with proficiency in Excel and ideally SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with issuer card reconciliation and GL reconciliation.
Familiarity with BSP regulations and Philippine payments.
Proficiency in Excel; SQL/automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee issuer card reconciliations across Visa and BancNet, including settlements and GL postings.
Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks and aging items within SLAs.
Validate scheme settlements and coordinate with Finance, Treasury, and partners.
Prepare, validate, and post journal entries for settlements, fees, and refunds.
Maintain maker-checker controls, logs, and escalation procedures.
Process partner billing and settlements to ensure on-time payments.
Maintain up-to-date SOPs and business continuity docs.
Support audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Drive automation to reduce manual reconciliation effort.
