Job summary

CrewCare Inc. in Manila seeks an experienced maritime professional to oversee the safe navigation and operation of a vessel on-site. The role requires 1–3 years in a maritime setting and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science or related field.

You will lead the crew, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct drills, and maintain logs and reports, with opportunities for professional development and a performance-based bonus. This is a full-time on-site role located in Ermita, Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marine Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a maritime role.
• Required competencies include STCW, ship maneuvering, meteorological judgment, COLREG rules, decision-making, composure under pressure, team leadership, emergency response, bulk carrier experience, and immediate deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime laws and regulations.
• Lead and manage the crew during all operations, providing clear communication and direction.
• Conduct regular drills and training exercises to maintain crew preparedness for emergencies.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports as required by regulatory authorities.
