Job summary

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Management Officer to join the AMA School of Medicine in Makati City. This full-time role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and space utilization for learning and working environments.

You will coordinate with vendors, supervise maintenance staff, and contribute to budget planning, ensuring reliable facilities that support students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or similar role in educational/healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance across classrooms, labs, offices and common areas.
• Manage relationships with external contractors to ensure quality service and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols for assets.
• Monitor building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and controls.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and improvements.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment with adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for educational facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with corrective action.
• Prepare detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Liaise with departments to address facility requirements and concerns.
• Supervise maintenance staff and cleaning personnel as required.
• Assist with budget planning and cost-control for facility operations.
