Job summary

STI College Tanauan seeks a Building Administrator to lead day-to-day facility operations in Tanauan City, Batangas. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, coordinate with staff and contractors, and maintain training and safety standards across campus.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture, strong organizational skills, and experience with budgeting, vendor management, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Familiarity with building codes, health and safety regulations and government compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with staff, contractors, and management
• Proficiency in report writing and basic computer applications.
• Problem-solving capability and ability to respond efficiently to maintenance emergencies.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Experience in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and vendor management.
• Advantage but not mandatory: Professional License (e.g., Registered Engineer), or certifications related to Facilities Management, Safety and Property Management; Training certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Safety, or Emergency Management; Knowledge of DENR, LLDA, LGU and safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure prompt resolution of facility issues and repairs.
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, and building inspections.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage budgets related to building maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper resource allocation.
• Respond to and prioritize urgent maintenance requests and emergencies affecting building operations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with college management regarding facility improvements and capital projects.
• Monitor and manage building security systems, access controls, and overall campus safety.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, landscaping, and waste management.
• Prepare reports on facility status, maintenance costs, and recommendations for improvements.
