Job summary

Solaire Resort in Parañaque seeks a cashier to ensure prompt, accurate guest service and secure handling of cash, chips, and currencies. You will operate at Front Window, Chip Bank, or Team Member Bank, maintaining accountability for monetary items and reporting unusual activity.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required; Filipino-English fluency is essential with Mandarin/Cantonese/Korean/Japanese as a plus. Prior banking or gaming cash experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication in Filipino and English.
• Basic Mandarin/Cantonese/Korean/Japanese is an advantage.
• Computer literacy required; proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in cash handling; gaming/banking preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 kg.

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service at Front Window, Chip Bank, and Team Member Bank.
• Handles cash, chips, slot tickets, credit card and foreign exchange transactions.
• Reports large or suspicious transactions in a timely manner.
• Maintains accountability for monetary items during assigned shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Consistently delivers prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow Team Members
  
• Maintains and is held accountable for all monetary items entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift at the Front Window, Chip Bank, and/or Team Member Bank.
  
• Handles all cash, chips, slot machine tickets, credit card and foreign exchange, and other related transactions.
  
• Reports large and/or suspicious transactions.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of at least achieved High School education or equivalent
  
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and days, including weekends and holidays; extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
  
• Possess excellent communication skills and a good command of the Filipino and English language are required; basic in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese is an advantage
  
• Must be computer literate, preferably proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
  
• Preferably with previous customer service and/or cash handling experience in gaming or banking industries
  
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up materials or equipment up to 30kg
  
• Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred
