Job summary

Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. in Parañaque invites applications for a front-line cashier role. The successful candidate will deliver prompt, courteous service to guests and staff, manage monetary items on shift, and handle cash, chips, and foreign exchange with accuracy.

Requirements include high school education, ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, and strong communication in Filipino and English. Experience in gaming or banking cash handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible shifts incl. weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in Filipino and English.
• Basic Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Japanese an advantage.
• Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Cash handling experience in gaming or banking preferred.
• Must lift up to 30 kg; experience with cash/FX handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service to guests, visitors, vendors and team members.
• Maintains and is accountable for monetary items on assigned shift at Front Window/Chip Bank/Team Member Bank.
• Handles cash, chips, slot tickets, credit cards, foreign exchange, and related transactions.
• Reports large or suspicious transactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Consistently delivers prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow Team Members
• Maintains and is held accountable for all monetary items entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift at the Front Window, Chip Bank, and/or Team Member Bank.
• Handles all cash, chips, slot machine tickets, credit card and foreign exchange, and other related transactions.
• Reports large and/or suspicious transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of at least achieved High School education or equivalent
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and days, including weekends and holidays; extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a good command of the Filipino and English language are required; basic in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese is an advantage
• Must be computer literate, preferably proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
• Preferably with previous customer service and/or cash handling experience in gaming or banking industries
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up materials or equipment up to 30kg
• Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred
