• Sort and count currency and gaming chips, prepare straps, consolidate reports, and reconcile counted amounts.
• Balance and export daily currency count reports.
• Identify and report suspected counterfeit currency.
• Collect and sort coins, cash, and cash equivalents from non-gaming funds and tip boxes.
• Replenish and collect funds from redemption kiosk units.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Count Room Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate counting, processing, reconciliation, and documentation of cash, cash equivalents, and gaming/non-gaming revenues. The role operates currency-counting equipment and supports the integrity of count room operations by maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely collection, transportation, and issuance of stackers.
  
• Conduct daily cash counts and accurately record the contents of casino drop boxes and slot machine stackers.
  
• Sort and count currency and gaming chips, prepare straps, consolidate reports, and reconcile counted amounts.
  
• Balance and export daily currency count reports.
  
• Identify and report suspected counterfeit currency.
  
• Collect and sort coins, cash, and cash equivalents from non-gaming funds and tip boxes.

Requirements

• At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
  
• Previous experience in cash handling, teller, cashier, or related roles is an advantage.
  
• Able to operate electronic counting equipment such as note counters and counterfeit detectors.
  
• Computer literate, preferably proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
  
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 kg
