Job summary

Job description

• Prepare and develop detailed Architectural and Interior Architectural drawings using AutoCAD and other applicable drafting/design software.
• Produce and update drawings such as:
• Site Development Plans and applicable architectural site details
• Floor plans and setting-out plans
• Architectural elevations and sections
• Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)
• Floor and wall finish plans
• Interior architectural elevations and sections
• Partition and wall details
• Door and window details and schedules
• Toilet, wet-area, and other architectural details
• Stair, ramp, railing, and accessibility details
• Ceiling, wall, flooring, and material junction/transition details
• Architectural built-ins and fixed elements, where applicable
• Other construction details necessary to communicate the architectural design intent
• Convert approved design concepts, sketches, mark‑ups, reference drawings, and technical instructions into accurate and properly detailed CAD drawings.
• Develop construction details based on approved design intent, applicable project standards, material requirements, and actual site conditions.
• Ensure drawings accurately reflect approved dimensions, levels, materials, finishes, patterns, alignments, and architectural interfaces.
• Coordinate Architectural drawings with Structural, MEPF, Landscape, Kitchen, Signage, and other specialist/consultant drawings to identify and minimize conflicts.
• Identify and raise discrepancies, missing information, conflicting details, and potential coordination issues for clarification by the Design Team.
• Incorporate approved comments, RFIs, site conditions, design revisions, and consultant information into the drawings.
• Assist in preparing and updating drawing packages for Design Development, Tender, Issued for Construction (IFC), Construction Bulletins, and As-Built documentation, as required.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, including layers, line weights, text styles, annotations, dimensions, symbols, drawing references, title blocks, file naming, and drawing numbering.
• Perform self-checking of drawings for completeness, consistency, dimensional accuracy, and coordination prior to submission for review.
• Maintain organized CAD files, external references, drawing registers, revision records, and other technical documentation.
• Assist in checking contractor/shop drawings against approved Architectural drawings when assigned.
• Provide drafting support for site coordination and preparation of revised details based on verified site conditions.
• Perform other related architectural drafting and technical documentation tasks as assigned by the Design Team.

Interior Architecture Scope

Interior-related drafting shall be limited primarily to Interior Architecture necessary for the architectural construction package, including:

• Internal partitions and wall construction
• Ceiling layouts and architectural ceiling details
• Floor and wall finish layouts
• Interior architectural elevations and sections
• Doors, openings, and architectural interfaces
• Toilet and wet-area layouts/details
• Fixed architectural elements and built‑ins
• Material junctions, transitions, and termination details
• Coordination of architectural finishes with MEPF and other building systems

The role is not primarily responsible for FF&E selection, loose furniture design, styling, décor, artwork, accessories, soft furnishings, or other specialist Interior Design services, except where information needs to be reflected in the drawings for coordination.
