Job summary

PIODURAN ENGINEERING DEVT INC. is seeking a CAD Operator to prepare, develop and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings for construction and engineering projects based on approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

You will produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts and technical plans for construction and engineering works, ensuring compliance with project standards and conventions. The role requires close coordination with Engineers, Architects and MEPF teams.

Qualifications

• Prepare, develop, and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings from approved designs and specs.

• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, drafting conventions, dimensions, scales, layers, and drawing formats.

• Prepare, develop, and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings based on approved designs, specifications, and project requirements
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, detailed drawings, layouts, and technical plans for construction and engineering works
• Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, MEPF personnel, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and coordinated
• Incorporate approved design changes, revisions, and site modifications into drawings
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, file naming, document control, and drawing registers
• Coordinate and identify clashes or discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings and report them to the concerned engineers
• Prepare drawings and documents required for technical submissions, approvals, construction, and project close-out

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings based on approved designs, specifications, and project requirements


• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, detailed drawings, layouts, and technical plans for construction and engineering works


• Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, MEPF personnel, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and coordinated


• Incorporate approved design changes, revisions, and site modifications into drawings


• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, drafting conventions, dimensions, scales, layers, and drawing formats


• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper detailing before submission


• Maintain proper drawing revisions, file naming, document control, and drawing registers


• Assist in the preparation and updating of as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved changes


• Coordinate and identify clashes or discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings and report them to the concerned engineers


• Prepare drawings and documents required for technical submissions, approvals, construction, and project close-out
