Job summary

Newcore Industries International Inc is seeking an Architect/ drafter to prepare architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and to translate design concepts into technical drawings and details. The role involves site visits, document管理, and coordination with project teams to ensure code compliance and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Architecture (licensed preferred), strong BIM proficiency, and a solid grasp of construction methods and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; licensed Architect preferred depending on project requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit with BIM workflow knowledge.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, detailing, materials, and codes.
• Ability to prepare accurate construction drawings, details, and technical documentation across project phases.
• Familiarity with site assessment, RFIs, and coordination during project implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings using CAD and BIM software.

• Design Development: Translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings, specifications, and construction details.

• Technical Detailing: Develop precise plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details for proper construction implementation.

• Code & Standards Compliance: Ensure drawings and documentation comply with applicable building codes, regulations, project requirements, and quality standards.

• Technical Data Management: Organize and maintain project drawings, specifications, technical documents, and other relevant project information.

• Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical and design-related issues in coordination with the project team.

• Site Assessment & Survey: Conduct pre-design and ongoing site visits to gather measurements, photographs, field data, and other information required for project development.

• Construction Administration Support: Provide technical support during construction through site observations, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), reviewing site conditions, and documenting design changes or issues to ensure alignment with approved architectural plans.

• Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy across project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; a licensed Architect is preferred, depending on project requirements.

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with working knowledge of BIM processes and other relevant design software.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, detailing, materials, and applicable building codes and standards.

• Construction Documentation: Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate construction drawings, details, and technical documentation throughout different project phases.

• Site & Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with site assessment, construction processes, RFIs, and coordination during project implementation.

• Communication & Coordination: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
