The Business Solutions Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting the sales and business development of N-Pax solutions, including lead generation, prospect engagement, client discovery, solution presentations, proposal development, sales follow-ups, and account development.
The role will work closely with the Business Unit Manager and other internal stakeholders to develop N-Pax opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, understand their contingent workforce and workforce management requirements, and support the conversion of qualified opportunities into clients.
In addition to the primary sales responsibilities, the Business Solutions Consultant may be assigned to provide functional and implementation support for accounting system projects. This may include requirements gathering, client coordination, documentation, testing, training, and other implementation-related activities based on project requirements.
The position therefore requires a combination of consultative selling, business development, client relationship management, business analysis, and functional implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Support the development and execution of sales initiatives for our products and solutions.
- Identify and develop potential clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct lead generation, prospect research, client outreach, and sales follow-up activities.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and qualified sales opportunities.
- Identify relevant decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with prospective clients through email, LinkedIn, calls, meetings, networking activities, and other appropriate channels.
- Qualify opportunities by understanding the client's workforce structure, business requirements, challenges, budget, timeline, procurement process, and decision-making process.
- Schedule and participate in discovery calls, client meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, opportunities, client interactions, next steps, and sales activities.
- Work toward assigned sales, pipeline, lead-generation, and business development targets.
2. Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospective clients' contingent workforce, vendor management, procurement, workforce visibility, and related business requirements.
- Understand client pain points and assist in positioning business solutions based on identified business needs.
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, and other sales materials.
- Translate client requirements into clear business and functional requirements for coordination with and relevant N-PAX teams.
- Coordinate with product managers and internal technical or business stakeholders when more detailed product or technical expertise is required.
- Assist in developing solution scope, commercial proposals, presentations, and responses to client inquiries.
- Ensure that client requirements and commitments made during the sales process are properly documented.
- Continuously develop knowledge of N-pax's business solutions, capabilities, use cases, and value proposition.
3. Account & Client Relationship Management
- Maintain relationships with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Serve as one of the primary points of coordination between prospective clients, N-PAX, and product managers during the business development process.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on proposals, client requirements, pending decisions, and next steps.
- Maintain relationships with acquired accounts and identify opportunities for additional services, expansion, or related solutions.
- Gather client feedback and market intelligence that may help improve N-PAX's sales strategy and market positioning.
- Support client retention and long-term account development as required.
4. Accounting System Implementation Support
As business and project requirements arise, the Business Solutions Consultant may be assigned to support implementation projects.
Responsibilities may include:
- Participate in client requirements-gathering and discovery sessions.
- Assist in documenting business processes, functional requirements, workflows, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, functional consultants, technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Help translate client business requirements into clear information for the implementation team.
- Assist in preparing functional and project documentation.
- Support system configuration activities within the employee's level of functional knowledge and assigned responsibilities.
- Participate in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Document issues, client feedback, test results, and required changes.
- Assist in coordinating issue resolution between clients and technical or functional teams.
- Conduct or support user training, system walkthroughs, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Provide post-implementation assistance as required during stabilization and transition to support.
- Perform other reasonable implementation-related responsibilities based on project requirements and the employee's training and capabilities.
5. Sales Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely sales pipeline and activity reports.
- Provide regular updates on prospects, meetings, proposals, opportunities, and expected next steps.
- Monitor progress against assigned sales and lead-generation targets.
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, reports, meeting notes, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate internally to ensure timely responses to prospective and existing clients.
- Participate in sales planning, pipeline reviews, and business unit meetings.
6. Product & Market Knowledge
- Develop strong working knowledge of N-Pax products, solutions, use cases, and target markets.
- Understand the fundamentals of Vendor Management Systems (VMS), contingent workforce management, staffing suppliers, procurement processes, and related workforce solutions.
- Stay informed about market developments, competitors, prospective industries, and potential opportunities.
- Maintain sufficient working knowledge of accounting system solutions to effectively perform assigned implementation-support responsibilities.
- Participate in product, sales, functional, and implementation training provided by N-PAX and its partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in sales, business development, pre-sales, account management, business systems consulting, ERP implementation, business analysis, or client-facing roles is preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise software, ERP, workforce management, HR technology, procurement technology, or other B2B solutions is an advantage.
- Experience supporting system implementation projects is an advantage.
- Candidates with strong functional or business systems backgrounds who demonstrate commercial aptitude and willingness to develop sales capabilities may also be considered.
