Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Business and Risk Officer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain the MIS and analytics framework and reports needed for performance tracking, portfolio management, strategy formulation, profitability analysis, and business development.

The BRO will analyze internal data, business analytics, digital analytics, market and consumer research to identify growth opportunities and help influence data-driven decisions and action planning for both

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in business analytics, data science or related disciplines in consumer lending or distribution.
Proficient in data/analytical tools (e.g. SAS and Tableau).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Work with various internal and external business units (Marketing, Credit Risk, IT/BW, enterprise customer intelligence, CRM, external research agencies, etc.) to identify gaps, develop a learning agenda, create research plans and design business studies.
Provide support to Portfolio Management, Marketing and Sales teams in designing and executing their acquisition and portfolio action campaigns.
Ensure generation of accurate and timely MIS that provides thorough understanding of portfolio risk and supports what-if analysis and forecasting.
Monitor and manage portfolio delinquency, risk-adjusted margins and loan loss provisioning within target level.
