Job summary

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) seeks a Business and Risk Officer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain the BI reporting scheme, data marts, and MIS used for performance tracking, portfolio management, profitability analysis and business development.

The role analyzes internal data, market research, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and enable data-driven decisions and action plans for strategic and tactical growth across Marketing, Credit Risk, and IT/Business Data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, econ, data science or engineering.
2+ years in business analytics or data science for consumer lending/distribution.
Proficient in SAS and Tableau.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of analytics projects to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Collaborate with Marketing, Credit Risk, IT/Data Warehousing, enterprise customer intelligence, CRM, external research agencies to close gaps and design studies and insight-generation activities.
Support Portfolio Management, Marketing and Sales in acquisition and portfolio campaigns.
Ensure timely MIS with portfolio risk insights, forecasting, and feedback into product design.
Monitor delinquency, risk-adjusted margins, and loan loss provisioning within targets.
