Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Business Process Senior Associate to support the Insurance Operations team. The role focuses on completing requests and transactions accurately within SLA, while adhering to Business Unit policies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or an undergraduate with multiple years of back-office exposure. Strong MS Office skills, a fast, accurate typing speed, and clear written communication are essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree holder with 1 year back-office experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate with at least 2 years completed and 2 years back-office experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web browsers and common business applications.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Ability to compose clear, grammatically correct written communication.

We’re looking for Business Process Senior Associates to join our Insurance Operations team at MGS. In this role, you are expected to complete requests and transactions productively and accurately to meet Service Levels set by the management with the business unit.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Process and analyze transactions in line with the Service Level Agreement set with the Business Unit.
  • Attain Mastery of Business Unit Policies governing the transactions being processed.
  • Report all system issues that may affect the operations.
  • Such other duties and functions as assigned by Operations Management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree holders: At least 1 year of relevant back-office experience preferred (e.g., data entry, document processing, administrative support).
  • Undergraduates (minimum 2 years completed): At least 2 year of relevant back-office experience required.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web browsers and common business applications.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Ability to compose grammatically correct, clear, and concise written communication.

  • Above average problem-solving skills.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Above average attentiveness to detail.
  • Fast and accurate data-entry skills with the ability to process high volumes of work accurately.
