Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Business Insights Officer to turn data into actionable insights that support revenue growth, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

As a strategic partner to Branch Banking Sector business units, you will use data visualization, exploratory analysis, and storytelling to identify growth opportunities and efficiencies derived from customer behavior patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication Arts, Statistics or related field.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
• Data analysis and data insights experience in a bank.
• Strong ability to drive data, make data-driven decisions, problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with various technical team.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders of varying seniority levels is an advantage.
• Experience in the banking industry is a must.

Position Title: Business Insights Officer

Job Summary:

• The Business Insights Officer is primarily responsible in utilizing varying data analytics frameworks to deliver actionable insights and support revenue growth, operational cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk reduction and improve customer experience/ delight.
• He/she will serve as a strategic business partner to Branch Banking Sector business units and work with them to monitor, identify and implement business analytics needs – specifically driving insight using data visualization, exploratory analysis, and storytelling focusing on identifying potential sources of growth and efficiencies derived from customer behavior patterns.
• He/she will analyze transactions and give meaningful insights.
• He/she will help the Area Head formulate strategies based on the gathered insights.
