Job summary

PETNET Forex Solutions seeks a Business Development Officer to drive growth for Global Pay University and future products. You will plan and execute sales activities, manage relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and oversee delivery quality.

The role requires at least 2 years in sales or business development, preferably in Visa consultancy, education, or cross-border payments. A hybrid work setup with office in Legaspi Village, Makati, awaits client engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience in EdTech, international education, or cross-border payments is a plus.

Job description

The Business Development Officer’s primary objective is to contribute to the growth and profitability of the Company by planning and implementing all sales activities for our Global Pay University and other potentially upcoming products and services. While carrying this out, you shall be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the quality of product and service delivery

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure product and process knowledge expertise of the Forex Departments services;
• Generate and qualify leads or partner referrals;
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies;
• Schedule sales activities and follow up results/outcomes of these activities;
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients;
• Personally develop and/or assist in the development of presentations of Company products and services to current and potential clients;
• Conduct or participate in the presentation of Company products and services to current and potential clients;
• Negotiate with clients and assist in them in the completion, collation, submission of all documentary requirements to enable them to avail of the Company’s products and services;
• Personally develop and/or assist in developing sales proposals;
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person;
• Ensure and enhance customer service satisfaction and good client relationships;
• Ensure adherence of the client to the company, AMLC, and BSP’s regulatory requirements.

Marketing Function:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of sales and promotional materials;
• Assist in planning and conducting direct marketing activities;
• Participate in marketing and sales events;
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development;
• Conduct product training, as and when required by your immediate or Department head;
• Conduct product training sessions as required by your immediate or Department head

Report and Document Management:

• Develop and maintain a customer database;
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports;
• Coordinate with other Departments as and when necessary to carry out tasks and responsibilities;

Others:

• Perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification:

• Education. Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of any 4-year course.
• Experience. At least 2 years of Sales experience in Visa Consultancy, education, Sales or other related fields;
• Prior sales or business development experience within EdTech, International Education, Student Visa Consultancies, or Cross-Border Payment platforms.
• Visa & Financial Processing. Hands-on understanding of student visa financial requirements, embassy proof-of-funds compliance, and international tuition transfer processes.
• B2B Network. Existing network or experience dealing with study-abroad agencies, education consultants, university admissions, or foreign exchange (Forex) desks.
• Regulatory Acumen. Familiarity with BSP and AML/AMLC compliance regarding foreign remittances and student financial transactions.
