Business Development – Atome Philippines
We are looking for a commercially driven, proactive, and relationship-oriented Business Development professional who can identify opportunities, build partnerships, and turn ideas into executable initiatives that drive growth for Atome Philippines.
The right candidate should be comfortable working across fintech, payments, retail, e-commerce, F&B, financial services, and other consumer-facing industries. They should be equally comfortable pitching to external partners, analyzing business performance, coordinating campaigns, and working internally with multiple teams to launch projects.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships that can drive Atome Card usage, customer acquisition, transaction volume, GMV, and incremental revenue.
Build relationships with leading merchants, retail groups, F&B groups, e-commerce platforms, financial institutions, and other strategic partners.
Develop partnership proposals and commercial structures that create measurable value for both Atome and its partners.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing strategic accounts while identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration.
Develop merchant and partner campaigns designed to increase customer spending, transaction frequency, and engagement.
Create campaign mechanics such as discounts, vouchers, rebates, minimum-spend offers, acquisition programs, and other promotional initiatives.
Coordinate campaign execution with partners and Atome's internal teams.
Track campaign budgets, utilization, redemption, GMV, transaction growth, and overall performance.
Conduct post-campaign analysis and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
Explore new partnership models and revenue opportunities beyond traditional merchant campaigns.
Identify opportunities for Atome's broader ecosystem, including payments, customer acquisition, lead generation, embedded financial products, insurance, lending, loyalty, and other strategic integrations.
Develop business cases for new initiatives and present recommendations to management.
Support pilot programs and help scale successful concepts into larger commercial initiatives.
Analyze merchant and transaction performance to identify growth opportunities.
Use GMV, transaction count, average transaction value, customer behavior, campaign performance, and other relevant metrics to develop commercial recommendations.
Prepare business cases, forecasts, campaign ROI analyses, and management presentations.
Monitor partnership pipelines and provide regular updates on opportunities, progress, and results.
Serve as the BD owner for assigned projects from initial discussion through commercial launch.
Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Tech, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and regional teams to ensure successful execution.
Manage timelines, dependencies, documentation, approvals, and partner requirements.
Proactively identify roadblocks and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
Represent Atome Philippines in partner meetings, negotiations, industry events, and business discussions.
Develop a strong understanding of each partner's business and identify where Atome can provide incremental value.
Build long-term relationships rather than focusing solely on one-off commercial transactions.
Act as a reliable point of contact between strategic partners and Atome's internal organization.
A successful BD at Atome should ultimately be able to say:
“I found the opportunity, built the business case, got the partner interested, aligned the internal teams, launched it, and can show what it contributed to the business.”
