Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Technical Resiliency Analyst to join the Legal team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own and support enterprise-level risk management, business continuity, and resiliency programs across the organization.

The role requires mapping processes, identifying gaps, and driving scenario-based exercises to ensure robust disaster recovery capabilities. Collaboration with global teams and vendors will be essential to maintain compliance and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Information Technology; other majors considered.
• Typically minimum 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists in enterprise-level risk management and operational compliance functions.
• Interpret guidelines to provide a second line of defense on Business Continuity Management items.
• Manage and assist with the Business Resiliency Governance program implementation globally.
• Map end-to-end service processes and identify Single Point of Failure.
• Review technology resiliency changes to ensure compliance with Technical Resiliency Standard.
• Create and deliver scenario-based exercises and oversee technology exercises for resiliency and disaster recovery.
• Identify risks, track remediation through closure, and escalate as needed.
• Oversee creation of application-level disaster recovery/technical resiliency plans.
• Use Archer to document and manage risks and resiliency activities across units.
• Coordinate incident management, business continuity/disaster recovery training and awareness.
• Participate in vendor reviews as a Business Resiliency SME.
• Monitor incident inbox and track weather events, incidents, and crises.

What You’ll Own

• Performs and assists in development of enterprise-level risk management and operational compliance functions.
• Interpret guidelines/policies/procedures to provide a second line of defense (critical challenge) on items related to Business Continuity Management
• Manage and assist with the Business Resiliency Governance program implementation globally
• Able to assist in mapping end-to-end service processes and identify Single Point of Failure (critical thinking)
• Participate in the review of technology resiliency (design architecture) changes (new/existing) to ensure compliance with Technical Resiliency Standard
• Able to create and deliver scenario-based exercises and oversee technology exercises to ensure every aspect of resiliency and disaster recovery capabilities are suitable and identify any potential gaps/issues
• Responsible for identification of risks, tracking of remediation through closure, and escalating issues as needed
• Oversee the creation of application level disaster recovery/technical resiliency plans to include key recovery strategies
• Use Archer, the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool, to assist business units across the organization with identification, evaluation, and management of risks and documentation of business resiliency activities in accordance with internal policies
• Coordinate and deliver incident management, business continuity/disaster recovery, exercise, and issue training and awareness
• Participate in vendor reviews as a Business Resiliency Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Monitor the Corporate Incident Management inbox and track weather events, incidents, and crises that may impact the Global Payments
• Supports implementation of processes to satisfy internal and regulatory requirements
• Assist with gathering and/or maintaining documentation for meeting with Federal Examiners, internal and external auditors, and with clients
• Skilled in problem solving; creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems; good business judgment
• Participates and may lead training and the work of complex projects such as new business integration
• Administer and complete complex tasks such as data gathering or manipulation, system or process creation and implementation
• Able to make project recommendations of critical importance within established guidelines
• Work independently while setting priorities and providing regular project status and updates

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree Major in Information Systems, Information Technology, Bachelor of Science; other majors considered; willing to accept additional experience in lieu of degree
• Typically Minimum 2 years relevant experience
