Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical/vocational HVAC training.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining commercial building mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, blueprints and specs.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and BAS interfaces; strong troubleshooting.
• Physical capability for maintenance tasks and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Respond to alarms, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Inspect mechanical systems to prevent operational failures.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS with accuracy.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Monitor BAS to optimize performance and energy use.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, participate in on-call rotation.
