Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Makati City, Philippines, is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across facilities. The role includes proactive testing, scheduled maintenance, and repairs as part of the Engineering and Technical Services team.

You will install, troubleshoot, and adjust HVAC control systems, ensure compliance with codes, and follow established procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC systems.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
