Job summary

SMDC in Metro Manila is seeking a Building Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will supervise engineers and technicians, coordinate with service providers, and implement preventive maintenance calendars.

A licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years of experience is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Registered electrical or mechanical engineer qualification is required.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Knowledge of Building Facilities and Equipment Management.
Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills.
Decisive with good attention to detail.
Efficient and trustworthy with high sense of urgency.
Able to work well in a team or independently.
Familiar with coordinating with service providers and contractors.

Responsibilities

Participate in testing, commissioning, and punchlisting of building equipment and systems.
Supervise shift engineers and technical staff to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
Oversee maintenance programs for MEP systems, fire safety, and utilities.
Maintain technical records, manuals, and turnover documents.
Coordinate permits, licenses, and government requirements.
Prepare and monitor annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
Ensure SLA compliance with service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
Monitor utility consumption and oversee renovation and expansion projects.
