Senior Building Facilities & Systems Engineer

Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to ensure proper, cost-effective operation and maintenance of building systems across select properties in Pasay, Quezon City or Makati.

You will supervise engineers and technicians, prepare comprehensive maintenance calendars and budgets, manage permits and liaise with residents and service providers to meet SLA targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years in Building Facilities and Equipment Management.
• Strong customer service, communication and computer skills.
• Decisive with good eye for detail and sense of urgency.
• Able to work well in a team or independently and demonstrate good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper, orderly, cost-effective, and timely operation and maintenance of all building systems, facilities and equipment.
• Supervise Shift Engineers and technicians to ensure routine, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance programs, budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), and monthly engineering reports.
• Coordinate with residents, service providers, and contractors to meet SLA and safety standards.
• Maintain and update engineering records, permits, licenses, and equipment documentation.
