Job summary

Global Land in Metro Manila is seeking a Building/Facilities Engineer to support operations and maintenance, overseeing major systems and collaborating with property managers, owners, and vendors.

The role requires a registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 2-3 years in building/facility management, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Monday-Saturday work.

Qualifications

  • Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in building/facility management.
  • Detail-oriented and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working days: Monday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair the building’s major operating systems and address issues posing risks.
  • Supervise electrical, mechanical and plumbing works, smoke detectors, and other building aspects.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance activities.
  • Monitor regular maintenance activities of technicians.
  • Deal with service contractors.
  • Review designs for renovation of units proposed by unit owners.
  • Handle condominium/building compliance.
  • Solve maintenance requests filed by homeowners/tenants and handle issues during tenant stays.
  • Assist Property Manager (PM) including building inspections, managing staff, operations, and projects.

Job description

Responsible for assisting in operations and maintenance issues, troubleshooting and problem-solving. Will have daily interaction with property managers, property owners, and vendors.

  • Maintain and repair the building’s major operating systems and address any arising issue that poses risks.

  • Supervise electrical, mechanical and plumbing works, smoke detectors, and other physical aspects of the building

  • Monitor preventive maintenance activities

  • Monitor regular maintenance activities of technicians

  • Deal with service contractors

  • Review designs for renovation of units proposed by unit owners

  • Handle condominium/building compliance

  • Solve all maintenance requests filed by home owners/tenants and handling any issues that arise during a tenant’s stay.

  • Assist Property Manager (PM) as needed including building inspections, managing staff, building operations, and projects.
