Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for SM City Bataan to oversee the mall's upkeep, safety, and compliance with company standards. You will supervise housekeeping and facilities operations to ensure a clean, safe, and well-run environment for shoppers and tenants.

You will coordinate with contractors and vendors, monitor energy and water usage, and serve as the mall's Safety Officer. A degree in engineering or related technology and a licensed engineer credential are preferred,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in building/property administration or related field.
• Working knowledge in facilities management, housekeeping, and engineering maintenance services.
• Licensed Engineer preferred.

Job Description:

Supervise maintenance services to ensure the proper upkeep of the mall, including its amenities, utilities and equipment in accordance with company standards of safety, cleanliness and orderliness that is crucial for the business to achieve its strategic and financial goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversees housekeeping and maintenance activities to ensure the mall's cleanliness, order, and upkeep - including janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and minor repair works within policy and budget limits.
• Monitors facilities and utilities operations by conducting regular inspections, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and tracking energy and water consumption to ensure efficient, reliable mall operations.
• Ensures tenant satisfaction and mall safety by assisting in construction and renovation monitoring, reviewing plans for compliance, addressing site issues, and acting as the mall's Safety Officer to uphold safety and security standards.
• Provides general administrative support by coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal departments, and serving as reliever for key custodian and warehouse functions when needed.
• Promotes continuous learning and professional growth by attending training programs, executing individual development plans, and contributing technical expertise to organizational training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Engineering, Architecture, Building Maintenance Technology degree.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of work experience in building/property administration or the same field
• Must have working knowledge in building/property administration, facilities management, housekeeping services, and engineering maintenance services.
