QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of budgeting principles, methods, and financial planning processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and prioritize multiple budget-related requirements.
Demonstrates integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and documentation.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead the preparation, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the Cooperative’s annual budget and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and approved resources.
Analyze budget requirements, expenditures, and utilization to ensure that financial resources are allocated efficiently and used in accordance with approved budgets, policies, and guidelines.
Prepare timely and accurate budget reports, forecasts, financial analyses, and management information to support sound financial planning and decision-making.
Review and evaluate budget proposals, revisions, realignments, and funding requests, providing appropriate analysis and recommendations to management.
Provide financial and budgetary insights to assist management and departments in resource planning, expenditure control, and achievement of operational objectives.
