Delbros Waterfront Leasing Co., Inc. is seeking a Compliance/Customs Specialist to manage import and export documents, proofread and lodge declarations, and ensure compliance with customs regulations and company standards.

The role requires a degree in a related field, potential licensure, and 1–2 years of experience in brokerage or import/export processing, with a focus on accuracy and timely lodgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in customs or related field.
• Licensed customs broker or pursuing license is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in brokerage, customs declaration, or import/export processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, prints, and proofs import and export documents and customs entries prior to lodgment.
• Lodges import and export declarations through the customs system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures all documentation complies with relevant customs laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Prepares and organizes required documents for customs clearance and delivery.
• Coordinates with courier and logistics partners regarding regulated items and shipments not included in the pre-approved list of exportable or importable goods.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of shipping and declaration documents before submission.
• Monitors lodgment status and follows up on any customs-related issues or discrepancies.
• Maintains proper filing and records of all lodged entries and related documents.
• Provides assistance to the customs team and other departments in ensuring compliance and timely release of shipments.
