Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a Brokerage Operations Coordinator to support import clearance processes and liaise with Consignee, UPS Broker, and internal customers.

This permanent role reports to the Brokerage Supervisor and requires ensuring on-time, compliant shipments, with opportunities to contribute to reporting and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Handles the clearance and monitoring of Air Shipments- Formal/Consumption Entries and Standalone Brokerage both Air and Ocean Back-up on handling Clearance of Ocean Formal and PEZA/FTZ shipments including Air shipments.
• Handles internal and external inquiries pertaining to clearance of shipments and PH Customs Rules and Regulations.
• Reviews the Cargo Inventory to check on Brokerage shipments.
• Handle preparation and submission of reports such as Brokerage Bundled report, OMR, OTR.
• Monitors internal reports such as OSRE monitoring Report.
• Monitor the compliance of Brokers on reporting (e.g., Shipments Control Log, KPI submission, Daily Volume report).
• Assist on Validating the KPI details, findings/result.
• Assist on Brokerage Internal Audit (IRCA), Compliance and Vendor Audit.
• Assist on ensuring the compliance of Brokers (Vendor) on the MOPs, Reports, Licenses, Trainings.
• Check and validate Broker's billing and validate if billed to Customer.
• Prepares and provide Quotation/RFQ for Brokerage.

Job Description:

This position performs Brokerage tasks. He/She mainly engages in supporting the Brokerage Operations on handling Clearance of Import shipments. He/She acts as the coordinator between the Consignee, UPS Broker and Internal Customers. He/she ensures that shipments of Customers will be cleared on time and in compliance with the Customs rules and regulations. He/She reports to the Brokerage Supervisor.
