Job Description:
The Branch Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of an assigned pawnshop branch, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with company policies, and achievement of branch targets. The role focuses on monitoring branch activities, supporting staff performance, maintaining operational controls, and addressing day-to-day operational concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily operations of the assigned pawnshop branch.
- Monitor branch performance in lending, appraisal, redemption, and sales activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash handling, documentation, inventory, and other branch operational activities.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and provide feedback to branch personnel.
- Coach and guide staff to improve productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Review branch reports and ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Head Office and other departments regarding branch concerns and operational support.
- Assist in training and onboarding of branch personnel.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and operational consistency within the branch.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in branch operations, retail finance, pawnshop services, or a related industry.
- Previous supervisory experience in branch, retail, or financial services operations is required.
- Experience in pawnshop, retail banking, or financial services is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Knowledge of branch operations, cash handling, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor targets, reports, and staff performance.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willing to work on-site and support the operational requirements of the assigned branch.
