Job summary

Cocogen Insurance, Inc. invites applications for a Branch Manager to oversee branch operations and drive growth in the Pangasinan area.

Responsibilities include marketing, customer service, policy issuance, cash management, collection, risk inspection and claims processing, with a focus on building intermediaries, markets, and channels. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and five years in non-life insurance, with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• 5 years total non-life insurance experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of all non-life insurance lines/products.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and develops intermediaries.
• Identifies, pursues, and develops potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution.
• Promotes product via trade/brick-and-mortar and online channels.
• Reports to Regional Head on intermediaries' production and profitability.
• Coordinates with Branch Heads and Company Units to ensure guideline adherence and process improvements.
• Maintains and upgrades the Branch's portfolio by servicing the insurance requirements of the target market.

Duties of the Branch Manager may include, but are not limited, to the following:

The Branch Head is responsible for ensuring branch viability by managing its operations covering activities such as, but not limited to: marketing, customer service, policy issuance, cash management, collection, risk inspection and claims processing.

• Recruits and develops intermediaries/s.
• Identifies, pursues, and develops potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution.
• Promotes product via trade/brick-and-mortar and online channels.
• Reports to the Regional Head the performance of intermediaries in terms of production, profitability and collection.
• Coordinates with other Branch Heads and other Company Units to: a. Ensure that operations are in accordance within establish guidelines; and procedures. b. Suggest improvements to enhance the position of the company in the assigned area of operation.
• Maintains and upgrades the Branch's portfolio by effectively servicing and providing all the insurance requirements of the assigned target market.

Qualification:

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a reputable college or university with major course work in business, marketing or a related field.
• 5 years total non-life experience with 1 year's supervisory position.
• Must know all the Non-life Insurance Lines/product.
