Job summary

Cocogen Insurance, Inc. in Cagayan de Oro seeks a Sales Associate to contribute to branch growth through marketing, sales, customer service, policy issuance, collections, and claims processing.

You will identify new markets and channels, promote products online and in-person, perform renewal reviews, prepare quotations, and assist with endorsements and underwriting within approved limits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Proficient in modern office procedures and MS Office.
• Experience in non-life insurance is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential markets, partners, and channels.
• Promote products via trade channels and online platforms.
• Assist in policy issuance, renewal reviews, and collections.
• Prepare quotations and proposals; monitor outstanding quotes.

The Sales Associate is responsible for the performance of tasks that contribute to the Branch’s growth and profitability, particularly (but not limited to) marketing, sales, customer service, policy issuance, collection, and claims processing.

• Identifies, pursues, and develops potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution.

• Promotes product via trade/brick-and-mortar and online channels.

• Performs renewal review and administration.

• Prepares reports such as, but not limited to, Renewal Persistency and Monthly Production.

• Analyzes, evaluates and accepts risks based on the Underwriting Guidelines and limits of authority .

• Prepares quotations, formal/written proposals and/or request for documentation of accounts.

• Signs endorsements within authorized limit.

• Monitors status of outstanding quotations and provides feedback to the Branch Head.

• Maintains direct premium receivables within manageable level based on agreed terms and conditions.

• Helps on policy issuance and claims processing when the need arises.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.

• Must be literate in Modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment and related spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications.

• Experience in the same position and/or in Non-Life Insurance is an advantage.

• With above-average verbal and written communication skills
