ABranch Inventory Controlleris responsible for managing and monitoring branch inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, smooth inbound/outbound movement, and timely replenishment. The role includes coordinating deliveries, conducting regular audits, forecasting supply needs, generating reports, and maintaining inventory records. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and experienced in inventory or supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stocks as needed.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and best practices.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and availability of stock.
- Coordinate logistics for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and tagging.
- Forecast supply and demand requirements to prevent overstocking or out-of-stock.
- Track inbound and outbound orders and maintain accurate inventory movement.
- Analyze supply chain data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
- Generate purchase reports, pricing reports, and inventory analyses.
- Conduct regular stock checks (physical vs. system) and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory and purchase order records.
- Assist in communication, surveys, and action plan implementation.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College Degree (any business-related or relevant course).
- Fresh graduates may apply;1 year inventory-related experienceis an advantage.
- Knowledgeable or experienced inconstruction materialsis a strong plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to perform actual physical count and branch inventory visits.
- Strong analytical skills, organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask.
- Mature, flexible, responsible, and a team player.
- Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
