Job summary

Liquid AI is hiring a Strategic Business Development lead for Life Sciences in Boston. You will drive partnerships, negotiate complex agreements, and shape how Liquid’s foundation models are adopted in pharma, biotech, and research settings.

You will work with founders and leadership to build the GTM playbook, lead first-of-a-kind deals, and guide evaluations, deployments, and market feedback to inform the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development, partnerships, or corporate development in pharma, biotech, or life sciences tech.
• Proven track record of deals that moved revenue.
• Deep knowledge of drug discovery and development and how pharma evaluates and buys R&D technology.
• High technical and scientific fluency to engage with scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own deals end to end from identification to close and delivery.
• Source opportunities across drug discovery and life sciences R&D.
• Manage and expand existing life sciences partnerships, including Insilico Medicine.
• Negotiate first-of-a-kind agreements combining licensing, revenue sharing, and co-development.
• Lead technical and scientific conversations with AI/computational leaders and R&D executives.
• Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and positioning.
• Build the life sciences GTM engine and partner qualification processes.
