Job summary

BSA Solutions Outsourcing Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper to lead day-to-day accounting operations for two major clients onsite in Cebu City. You will manage Xero and MYOB environments, ensure accurate reconciliations, and maintain audit-ready books in a fast-paced outsourcing setting.

• 3–5 years of experience in Australian Accounting Environment.
• Advanced Xero capability required.
• Strong reconciliation and compliance discipline.
• Experience managing remote/offshore teams preferred.

• Confident communicator with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations end-to-end.
• Manage MYOB environment, bank feeds, clearing accounts, payroll flows and coding.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliation discipline and audit-ready records.
• Oversee AP/AR integrity and payment verification processes.
• Ensure month-end close is delivered within close timeframes.
• Serve as the primary finance operator for two major clients.
• Monitor cash flow and provide reliable financial information for decisions.

JOB SUMMARY

This role combines financial operations leadership with commercial growth contribution. The Bookkeeper will own day-to-day accounting operations and act as the primary finance lead for two major clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Financial Operations & Control

• Own day-to-day accounting operations end-to-end.
• Manage MYOB environment, bank feeds, clearing accounts, payroll flows, and coding.
• Maintain strict balance sheet reconciliation discipline.
• Ensure audit-ready financial records at all times.
• Oversee AP/AR integrity and payment verification processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Escalate issues with context and recommended solutions where required.

Month-End & Reporting

• Help deliver month-end close within 5 business days.
• Prepare reconciliation workpapers and supporting documentation.

Major Client Ownership

• Serve as the primary finance operator for key clients.
• Ensure books are accurate, predictable, and compliance-ready.
• Monitor cash flow and financial stability.
• Provide reliable financial information to support decision-making.

First 30 Days

• Gain operational understanding of systems and workflows.
• Take ownership of reconciliations with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrate proactive and complete communication.

90 Days

• Fully own day-to-day finance operations.
• Ensure books are clean, reliable, and audit-ready.
• Demonstrate confidence in commercial conversations.
• Actively contribute to business development pipeline.
