Job Summary
TheBookkeeper / Administrative Assistant (Mid-Level) is responsible for independently handling day-to-day bookkeeping and providing structured administrative support to ensure efficient financial and office operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage accounting tasks with minimal supervision while coordinating administrative processes, documentation, and internal support across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and disbursements.
- Maintain, reconcile, and monitor general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare, review, and issue invoices, receipts, and official financial documents.
- Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries, schedules, and supporting reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records for audit, compliance, and internal reference.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams regarding billing, payments, and financial documentation.
- Assist in audit preparation and basic compliance requirements as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative support, ensuring proper documentation, filing systems, and record management.
- Prepare and organize internal reports, contracts, and administrative documents.
- Act as a point of coordination between finance, operations, and external partners when necessary.
- Support administrative requirements for events, projects, or company initiatives.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting and administrative workflows.
- Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative support roles.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial documentation, and basic taxation or government reporting.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
