Job summary

Suger is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting using QuickBooks Online (QBO). You will maintain records, reconcile accounts, process invoices, and assist with month-end close to ensure accurate reporting. Familiarity with Ramp, Bill.com, Stripe, or similar tools is a plus, and you will align with a US-based team as an independent contractor.

Work hours are 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Time to align with U.S. Pacific business hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and takes ownership of work with minimal supervision.
• Takes initiative to identify issues, follow up, and drive tasks to completion.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based company is a plus.
• Available to work the US overlap shift: 11pm–8am PHT (8am–5pm PT)
• Experience with payroll or sales tax; familiarity with Ramp, Bill.com, Stripe, or Rippling/Rise

Today, we’re working ~300 amazing customers, ranging from enterprises like Snowflake, Workday, Intel to the top AI-native companies like the main AI labs, Decagon, Glean, etc.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), strong bookkeeping fundamentals, and great English communication skills. You'll work closely with our North America team to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Working Hours: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Philippine Time (aligned with U.S. Pacific business hours)
