Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a BMS Operator to join our facilities management team at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. This on-site, full-time position focuses on monitoring the Building Management System to ensure comfort, safety, and operational efficiency for visitors and tenants.

Ideal candidates will have experience with BMS, HVAC, and building infrastructure, and be able to coordinate with maintenance teams to address issues and support emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BMS Operator or facilities operator.
• Technical knowledge of building management systems, HVAC, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with building automation software and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure all building systems function optimally.
• Conduct regular rounds to inspect facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, reporting issues.
• Control HVAC systems to maintain comfortable temperature and air quality.
• Manage lighting systems and energy consumption for efficiency.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and access controls; respond to alerts.
• Keep logs of system operations and maintenance activities.
• Respond to tenant and visitor inquiries regarding building systems and conditions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in coordinating emergency procedures and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot BMS equipment and escalate complex issues when needed.
