Job summary

Samsung C&T Philippines Corporation seeks a BIM Coordinator to lead BIM activities for the Philippines team. You will manage 3D modeling, 4D simulations, and quantity take-offs while ensuring compliance with company BIM standards.

You will coordinate with the HQ BIM team to set requirements, supervise the BIM group, and deliver accurate digital deliverables for large-scale infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (written/verbal) is mandatory for technical discussions and reporting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry with at least 3 years in BIM modeling/coordination.
• Experience with civil infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit & Civil 3D models per project requirements and BIM standards.
• Lead BIM team: planning, task allocation, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with HQ BIM team to define requirements, workflows, and delivery schedules.
• Lead 4D simulations, quantity take-offs, constructability reviews, and clash detection.
• Manage collaboration and model coordination via Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

BIM Coordinator

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for leading BIM activities and project delivery for the Philippines BIM team while serving as the primary coordination link with the HQ BIM Team. The role actively supports BIM modeling and coordination activities, including 3D modeling, 4D simulation, and quantity take-offs. The BIM Coordinator oversees project BIM deliverables, provides technical guidance to team members, and ensures compliance with project requirements, company BIM standards, and collaboration workflows through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit & Civil 3D models in accordance with project requirements, BIM standards, and delivery schedules.
• Lead and manage the BIM team, including resource planning, task allocation, performance monitoring, and technical mentoring.
• Coordinate with HQ BIM team to establish BIM requirements, workflows, and delivery schedules.
• Lead BIM activities including 4D construction simulations, quantity take-offs, constructability reviews, clash detection, data analysis, and preparation of presentation materials.
• Manage project collaboration, document sharing, and model coordination through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Review and validate BIM models, coordination reports, and digital deliverables before submission.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements, client expectations, and company quality standards.

Qualification and Experience

Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency: working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks is required. Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.
• Strategic Leadership: BIM coordination, model management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
• Language : Fluency in English (written/verbal) is mandatory for high-level technical negotiations and reporting.

Education

• Degree, Diploma, or Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training Certification) is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in BIM modeling and coordination.
• Experience or familiarity with the modeling of civil infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, roads, railways, and utility structures, will be an advantage.
